SPRINGVILLE, NY [March 25, 2026] – Fluidampr announces the release of a new smaller diameter damper holding tool. Part number 300024. The tool provides for easier Fluidampr performance damper installation by the user holding it in place while the damper bolt is installed. It can also be used as a barring tool to rotate the crankshaft with the damper installed.
The Fluidampr Holding Tool – Small fastens into the accessory drive pulley mounting bolts and accepts a ½” breaker bar or ratchet. It is compatible with most import and domestic pulley bolt circle patterns from Ø2.4″ up to Ø4.7″ These include popular engine platforms such as the Toyota 2JZ; Subaru EJ, FA20, and FA24; and Honda B and K series. Please note, it is not for use with flange mount dampers.
The Fluidampr Holding Tool – Small is a must have in the tool box of engine builders and technicians. Pair together with Fluidampr Holding Tool – Large for most larger domestic Chevy, Ford, and Mopar applications, p/n 300020. Built for the daily automotive shop environment, each tool is laser cut from quality quarter-inch steel, then finished in a RoHS compliant black zinc coating for corrosion resistance and laser engraved with the Fluidampr logo.
