SPRINGVILLE, NY [October 1, 2024] – Fluidampr announces the release of a new universal damper holding tool. Part number 300020. The tool provides for easier Fluidampr performance damper installation by the user holding it in place while the damper bolt is installed. It can also be used as a barring tool to rotate the crankshaft with the damper installed.
The Fluidampr Holding Tool fastens into the accessory drive pulley mounting bolts and accepts a ½” breaker bar or ratchet. It is compatible with most domestic pulley bolt patterns, including Chevy/GM 3.20” bolt circle, Ford 3.30” and 2.80” bolt circles, and Chrysler 2.80” bolt circles. Removal of the pulley is required on Fluidampr part numbers 840302 and 910302 (Dodge 6.2L HEMI Supercharged Hellcat), or damper ring on part numbers 720211 and 720221 (Ford 7.3L Power Stroke). The Fluidampr Holding Tool also works with popular Toyota 2JZ, Nissan RB, Subaru EJ and FA20, Honda B and K series, and Mazda MZR engines. Please note, it is not for use with flange mount dampers.
