2018 has been a banner year for Fluidampr. We couldn’t have done it without your support and dedication. Join us at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) show – booth #1725, Dec. 6-8, 2018 at the Indiana Convention Center. Recap what’s new and get to know the following team members:
- Ivan Snyder, WD Account Sales / Business Development
- Aaron Neyman, Product Engineering Manager
- Brian LeBarron, Marketing Coordinator
“More prestigious OEM global brands and premium aftermarket manufacturers are requesting viscous damper engineering and manufacturing services,” remarks Snyder. Harmonic balancer durability and increasing NVH standards are a driving force. Fluidampr performance dampers are uniquely designed to outlast and outperform in high temperature, low airflow engine bay environments.
In October of this year, Fluidampr Vibration Solutions Manager, Aaron Neyman was selected to discuss these capabilities at Engine Expo – Novi on behalf of parent company, Vibratech TVD. Engine Expo is the premiere powertrain show for OEM engine designers.
Damper Development Projects
Meanwhile, Fluidampr is also proud to highlight joint projects with Callies, an industry leading crankshaft manufacturer. Through collaborative engineering efforts we were able to model and simulate optimal damper performance before validation prototypes were ever machined. Ultimately, engine builders and race teams benefit the most. In 2018 the teams worked together on a Nissan GTR project for AMS Performance. The crankshaft and damper pair significantly outperformed in vibration control testing. Similar efforts in 2017 realized improved vibration reduction with an internal balanced Duramax pairing for Wagler Competition Products. Both crankshaft and damper kits are available through each respective engine builder or Callies.

Fluidampr p/n 760131 developed purposely for Duramax with Callies Internal Balance billet crankshaft. Validation testing conducted at Wagler Competition Products.
“Fluidampr proved to be the best…On top of the numerical data, there was a noticeable reduction in harmonics that could be felt in the concrete floor of the dyno cell. We’ll be using Fluidampr on all of our in-house builds…”

Spend Some Time With Us
PRI offers an excellent opportunity to learn more in-person and network with company staff. “2019 promises to be an exciting year as well,” continues Snyder. “We look forward to hearing your feedback at PRI. Particularly new damper application requests. Plus, for production engine builders and performance kit manufacturers we can discuss turn-key custom damper development and manufacturing programs. Last we always appreciate general ideas that we can implement to improve your shop’s business.”
See you at PRI.
